Soccer Spacetastrophe #2

The Last Kids on Earth meets Space Jam in this hilarious illustrated series about soccer, aliens, and friendship. Welcome to the Quantum Interstellar Sports League, where humans and aliens play soccer for the fate of the Earth! When twelve-year-old Wyatt Benson initially got drafted to play football in an intergalactic tournament against terrifying aliens, he was pretty sure it was supposed to be a one-time thing. But despite their previous victory, due to a loophole in the Quantum Interstellar Sports League’s contract, Wyatt and his whole team of pro-athlete tweens are called back to the field to play for the fate of the world once again. Only this time, they’re playing soccer. That’s right, soccer— a sport Wyatt has absolutely zero experience with. His dad's legacy as the greatest football player ever does nothing to help him, and cocky Nitro quickly takes control of the team. When the new tournament starts and tensions amongst the team rise, Wyatt’s friendships are quickly put to the test—because it seems like someone on the team doesn’t want them to win… Told in a mixture of text and black-and-white illustrations, this is a laugh-out-loud series for any kid who loves soccer, science fiction, and friendship.
